Bimbo Limbo

Holy crepes, Batman… they finally did it!
It’s a game… made for girls… marketed to girls… about being a Bimbo.
Miss Bimbo (that’s the name, I s#%t you not) is a free online muti-player game based on ideas similar to popular “ePet” style games like Tamagotchi or MyEpet. However, instead of a cuddly eBunny, the player is given the task of overseeing the development of their own personal “bimbo”, a virtual Barbie doll style character whose mission, as it is expressed in the game, is to become “the hottest of hot bimbos”.
Each player’s “bimbo” is pitted against one another to attain maximum “attitude” points, rising up the social ladder of popularity, and ultimately try to become the reigning uber-bimbo. Just like it’s more serious counterpart, World of Warcraft (to which I am terminally addicted), at each level of development the player is given challenges for their “bimbo” to complete, like reaching their “ideal weight” after breaking up with their boyfriend, or inversely reaching up to 154lbs to take a job as a “plus size model”. Faced with the daunting task of gaining as much popularity as quickly as possible, players can use medication to help them control their weight, or simply drop a bunch of virtual cash on… getting virtual implants!?
Now, this wouldn’t be SUCH a bad concept for a game (for free?? of course I’d try it!), except that the game is marketed towards girls from age 9 to 16.
